Habakkuk 1:10-12

New American Standard Bible

¹⁰ They ^(A)make fun of kings,
And dignitaries are an object of laughter to them.
They ^(B)laugh at every fortress,
Then ^(C)heap up dirt and ^[a]capture it.
¹¹ Then they fly along like the ^(D)wind and pass on.
But they will be held ^(E)guilty,
They whose ^(F)strength is their god.”

¹² Are You not from ^(G)time everlasting,
Lord, my God, my Holy One?
We will not die.
You, Lord, have ^(H)appointed them to deliver judgment;
And You, O ^(I)Rock, have destined them to punish.
